Legal Kit Ni Juan Author holds successful Book Signing and Meet-and-Greet at SM Megamall

MANDALUYONG CITY, Philippines — Atty. Christian “Atty. Chris” Sorongon, author of the bestselling Legal Kit Ni Juan, marked a meaningful milestone in his advocacy for legal literacy as he held a Book Signing and Meet-and-Greet on June 13, 2026, from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Megatrade Hall 3, SM Megamall.
The event, organized in partnership with National Book Store as part of its Back-to-School Festival, brought together family members, friends, colleagues, supporters, readers, and members of the growing Legal Kit Ni Juan community in a celebration of legal education and public service.
For Atty. Sorongon, the occasion represented far more than a book signing event.
“This book signing means so much to me, not because of the signatures, photos, or the event itself, but because it reminds me that this advocacy is reaching people,” he shared.
Since its launch, Legal Kit Ni Juan has grown from a simple idea into one of the country's most recognized legal literacy initiatives, with more than 50,000 copies released nationwide and a rapidly expanding online community dedicated to making legal knowledge more accessible to ordinary Filipinos.
Yet for the author, the true significance of the milestone lies not in the number of books sold.
“Fifty thousand copies sold is certainly a milestone, but for me, it is just a figure. The true measure of the success of Legal Kit Ni Juan is the impact it has made in the lives of every Juan. I am grateful that almost every day, we receive messages from readers sharing how Legal Kit Ni Juan has helped them better understand their rights, navigate legal concerns, and make informed decisions. Those stories mean more to me than any sales milestone ever could,” Atty. Sorongon said.
According to him, these stories of ordinary Filipinos applying what they learned from the book continue to inspire the advocacy behind Legal Kit Ni Juan and reinforce its mission of making legal knowledge practical, understandable, and accessible to all.
Throughout the evening, Atty. Sorongon personally met readers, signed copies of his book, took photographs with supporters, and shared insights about the journey behind Legal Kit Ni Juan and the advocacy that continues to drive its growth.
He likewise expressed his heartfelt gratitude to National Book Store for making the event possible.
“Maraming salamat sa National Book Store for making this Book Signing and Meet-and-Greet possible. I’m forever grateful for this milestone,” he said.
The author also acknowledged the unwavering support of his family, including his parents, relatives, in-laws, nephews, nieces, cousins, and loved ones who have stood by him throughout every chapter of his journey.
He likewise thanked his friends from Centro Escolar University, Ateneo de Manila University, and the University of the Philippines for sharing the milestone with him. Special recognition was also given to his DMD Family headed by Content Creator Dr. John Michael F. Dellariarte also known as Dr. Mike D. and Ms. Ena Quitain for their encouragement, guidance, and support throughout the years.
Atty. Sorongon also expressed his appreciation to his DAPAT LEGAL Teleradyo family of AllRadio 103.5 and AllRadioTV, led by AMBS

Most importantly, he thanked the more than 50,000-strong Legal Kit Ni Juan family whose trust and support have enabled the advocacy to reach thousands of Filipinos across the country.
“At the heart of Legal Kit Ni Juan has always been one mission: to help raise the level of legal awareness of every Juan,” Atty. Sorongon said. “Because when ordinary Filipinos know their rights, understand the law, and make informed decisions, we build stronger families, stronger communities, and a stronger nation,” he added.
Above all, he credited God for the grace, guidance, opportunities, and blessings that have accompanied the journey from the very beginning.
As Legal Kit Ni Juan continues to expand through books, digital platforms, public lectures, media engagements, and legal education initiatives, the June 13, 2026 Book Signing and Meet-and-Greet stands as another meaningful milestone in its continuing mission of bringing legal knowledge closer to every Filipino.
For Atty. Sorongon, however, the event was never solely about celebrating a bestselling book.
